I’m all about these current earring trends!
As I move into more of a monthly capsule wardrobe, I am relying on accessory choices more than ever. And really, updating jewelry can be such a budget friendly way to elevate and/or change up even the most basic ensemble. Here are the bold earrings that I keep gravitating towards, complete with links to similar styles in a variety of price points.
Tassel
This popular earring style is so much fun and honestly, super wearable. I went for a basic black pair for a charming, but slightly minimal look. Though, I also have an outrageous pair from Zara that has a pearl base, red and white stripe and a drop pink tassel bottom. So really, you can go as crazy as you’d like! Here are some tassel styles that caught my eye:
Baubles
This trend has carried over for a few seasons now, but I still love the look and feel of fabric baubles. The material makes them a bit lighter and thus easier to wear for an entire evening. I can’t seem to find this particular pair from Nordstrom online, but there’s tons of similar styles below.
Geometric
I absolutely love the variety within geometric earrings! From ear crawlers and small studs to big stacks of various shapes, you can find so much out there right now. I adore these Rachel Comey Arc Earrings from Shopbop, especially the tortoise blush combo. I just wish they were slightly lighter, as I can really only rock them for a few hours at a time before my ears need a bit of a break.
Pop Of Colour
I think it’s so important to have a couple pairs of colourful earrings on hand. When you’re in the mood to jazz up a look, they can just add the perfect amount of playfulness to any outfit. These red beaded drop earrings from Nordstrom have been my recent favourite.
Hoops
Such a throwback to the early 2000’s, but it’s kind of fun to pretend that I’m Jennifer Lopez in the Love Don’t Cost A Thing music video. An iconic J.Lo moment. Whoever brought this trend back, good on ya. I missed basic gold hoop earrings. They’re incredibly versatile, and have more of an understated boldness. I found these ones at Urban Outfitters and can’t stop wearing them because they are super comfortable and go with everything! From the beach to dinner, they’re the perfect subtle statement. Now, if only I could figure out how to be less awkward and not always catch them on things and have them rip off my ears and go flying 🤔
I really like hoops, they give the outfit a touch of vintage air. Totally love them.
You are looking gorgeous. Love your style.
Bead and tassel earrings are so-summery! wow! suits you girl <3
Those red beaded drop earrings remind me a bit of those ubiquitous bubble necklaces from 5 years ago – but in a good way!!
