I fell in love with Ted Baker on my very first trip across the pond. I remember walking into their store and gasping over the femme floral prints and bold bright hues. I’d tried on a classic trench coat that absolutely stole my heart and ended up leaving with a floor length large flower print dress – my very first ‘Ted-to-toe’ look. Seven years later, being able to partner with Ted Baker on our recent London adventure was beyond a dream come true! Not only did we get to rock brand new Spring 2016 Six Star Style looks, we got THE royal Ted Baker treatment! Read on to hear all about how Alexandra and I spent a day in London with the one and only, Ted Baker.
Our day began with us running a few minutes late because, well, it’s us, and it somehow always seems to take longer than you think to navigate that glorious city. We were headed towards East London’s Shoreditch area to take a peek at the brand new Ted Baker store on Commercial Street. Their imaginative merchandising displays and fixtures made browsing extra fun! Besides adding their entire new workout line to our wish list, we didn’t have long to linger, as our car had arrived to take us to the Ted Baker Cheapside for…manicures!
I honestly didn’t think I could love Ted Baker any more than I did, but mid-day shopping AND manis? If there wasn’t photo evidence, I’d have thought it was all a beautiful dream! Ted’s Beauty Spot was exactly the pampering we needed and our shellac manicures lasted forever. What a brilliant idea for anyone visiting London and a real treat for those who live/work nearby. After a lovely hangout with the Ted Baker Cheapside team, we ventured down the street to the gorgeous St.Paul’s Cathedral and a stroll across the Millennium Bridge just in time to catch a deliciously golden light and a quick look at Borough Market.
Alex and I adored our dresses so much that we wore them again at the end of our trip for an afternoon high tea at Sketch. Because nothing compliments an all pink room like matching frocks!
I’m just happy that I can still get my Ted Baker fix in person at Pacific Centre mall here in Vancouver (and now at Bellevue Square in Seattle for my Pacific Northwest peeps across the border). No matter where you are in the world, if you’re shopping the spring Ted Baker collection, be sure to share your looks online with #SixStarStyle and #TedBakerSS16. Is there anything particular that catches your eye? Would love to hear which styles you’re coveting in the comments below!
Cannot thank the Ted Baker team enough for this collaboration and helping make our time in London unforgettable. Oh, and be sure to check out To Vogue Or Bust’s post today as well!
