I have spent the last year or so living in a place that I did not feel was my own. It was white walls, cold floors, and only temporary. I didn’t even have any recent photos up…and I LOVE photography! Living in a place that does not feel like home is both frustrating and depressing. I am a creative person and I want my room to be a reflection of my personality.
After much deliberation, I have decided that I want the new place to be decorated in a warm, vintage theme. I have a few vintage items from my nana and some from antique shopping over the years. I hope so much that my new room feels bright and cozy, a place that I can look forward to spending my time.

I have been getting inspiration from stores, blogs, photos, etc. It’s actually amazing how easy it is to get inspired to re decorate a room.
I can’t wait for a fresh start for my vintage heart♥
I completely agree – when something seems 'just temporary' it's really difficult to feel comfortable and 'at home'. I have the same hopes you do for your new apartment as you do for yours … good luck to us!
OR you could paint your room bright pink and fill it with barbies.. just a thought 😉
