Miss Melissa finished the challenge a day earlier than I did, so yesterday we met up to do a little Fort Langley photo shoot. She brought balloons to celebrate, make sure you check out her outfit post here! I hadn’t been to Fort Langley since I was in grade 5, so it was very nice to go back and remember its charm!
So, every time I saw someone yesterday they’d be sure to mention how much they loved my earrings bla bla bla. I usually don’t know what to say back to compliments except to tell people where I got the item they’ve pointed out. Naturally, I responded to everyone by explaining that I got them at Wal Mart, excited to see the shock on their faces!
When I got home last night I stood in the kitchen talking to my roomie, and while she was telling me about her day I decided to take my earrings out. Turns out one of my earrings was completely missing the bottom half of the earring. So now I can’t help but think that people felt like they had to comment on my earrings because one was a stud and one was a chandelier, and that’s when I’d gush about how I found them at Wal Mart of all places, and they’d be looking at me thinking obviously you got them at Wal Mart, they’ve fallen apart?
Haha, and the sad part is that I’m just upset they broke because I really like them 😛
That's a bummer about your earrings! But this outfit is just as cute without them and those balloons are awesome!
These are really great photos!
I never really know what to say either when I get a compliment on an accessory or article of clothing so I do the same as you – tell them where I got it from and if I got a good deal on it I tell them how little I paid! LOL!
