I love shooting outfit photos with Adam because it often requires us to go on a mini adventure. On this particular evening, we wandered outside post work in search of a big piece of artwork my cousin James is painting at Alberta and 2nd. Days are getting shorter and shorter and as the sun went down, we quickly lost the light. We shot what we could (I kind of like the darker tone of these for a change) and ended up finding James finishing up his work for the day. It was so cool seeing him mid-project and working on something so large scale. If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out!
After we visited with him for a bit, our plans to make dinner were overruled by the fact that we were starving. Instead, this little walk turned into a spontaneous date night at one of our favourite restaurants, Nuba. We shared La Feast and talked about booking flights for a family trip in the new year. It was kind of the best.
As far as online shopping goes, this Gentle Fawn cardigan is everything. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced cozy cardi, this is the one! Since it’s oversized, remember to pair it with tighter fitting pieces to offset its large nature. It’ll help you look and feel put together in such a loose fitting garment. I love dressing it up as displayed here, or wearing it with a big t-shirt, leggings, and cozy socks at home.

I love this look! It’s so cozy but you still look chic at the same time.
