Super Base
Start with your usual base. I’m very low maintenance when it comes to skin, so I usually just do a moisturizer with SPF and then spot conceal as needed using this. If I want to feel extra done up or am noticing major dark under eye circles, then I will do a tinted moisturizer (this one is my favourite). Then, I always do my brows next, for no apparent reason. I fill them in with my Bombay Brow Bar eyebrow shadow in ‘Ash’ and lightly seal that with the wax.
Cheeky Monkey
I use the coral creme blush every day. Using my ring finger, I smile and VERY lightly apply it in a diagonal upwards motion on the apples of my cheeks. I then use the Bronzer to slightly contour the cheeks and brush around where needed.
Green Eyes, You’re The One I Wanted To Find
I used an eye shadow brush to apply the darker green on my lids. I started in the middle of the lid and pat the shadow down since it’s such a bold hue. I then applied the lighter green around my eye ducts and carefully along the bottom lash line. I played around from there using my finger to blend in the crease area and applying the lighter green if needed. The green needed a definitive contrast, so I applied a black pencil liner along both the top and bottom lash lines. Curled my lashes and applied this mascara to complete the eyes.
Kiss and Make Up
The HYDRA KISS is such a great day time lip colour. It’s super low maintenance and applies very easily. Plus, the Rose Eden colour was a fun contrast to the green eyes.

With the summer sunshine ahead, it was the perfect time to give Lise Watier’s Limited Edition Eden Tropical Collection a try. This was probably my very first adventure into green eye shadow – ever. I recently received a hot tip from a professional makeup artist that it’s time to get used to colourful eyes. Which is always funny, since we all just started getting used to a bold lip colour again. Sigh, how trends move along so quickly! Anyway, I have to say that it wasn’t as scary as I thought it was going to be. It’s definitely a look that all of us can easily achieve with a little trial and error 🙂
Thanks to Lise Watier for letting me take this collection our for a test run! If you have any questions about the look, be sure to let me know in the comments below.
Thanks to the harsh effects of winter, my hair was feeling extra dry, especially at the ends. It really didn’t help matters when I opted to touch up my ombré colour a few weeks ago as well. My mane was feeling coarser than usual and in desperate need of some tender love and care.
I also don’t have time to make my beauty routine any fancier. I mean, if I am able to even straighten my hair, it’s a good day. That’s where the TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth System comes in. This 3-part system consists of a shampoo and conditioner, as well as a heat activated product that you apply while hair is damp, just before you blow dry and/or flat iron.
And I really went into this review with very little expectation, mostly thinking that I wouldn’t be able to see much a difference. But after a week of using this system, I saw profound effects on my hair. After just the first wash, my hair already felt softer and much smoother. The most important outcome was the fact that it made blow drying my hair so much easier. I found that instead of tangling and frizzing out, my hair actually cooperated for once and dried far more efficiently. Using my flat iron was also a simpler process, and the end result was a sleeker style than I would have normally achieved.
After three washes and one week total of using the TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth System, I can honestly say that it delivered on its promises. I would absolutely recommend giving this a try if you need to minimize frizz and smooth out your locks.
TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth system is a 3 part system that gives you smooth, frizz-resistant hair for 7 days. For more information, visit tresseme.ca

Gal pal Alexandra and I set off on a lengthy journey to Port Saint Lucie, Florida a few weeks ago. It’s there that we met up with women from all across the country for a unique 2 day Lise Watier experience. Not only did we get an exclusive first glance at their summer collection (spoiler alert – you’re going to love it), but we also got tons of makeup tips and tricks from International Makep Artist, David Vincent. We even got a fun surprise when brand new swimwear line Everyday Sunday put on a fashion show of their online collection. It was an unforgettable whirlwind trip and I’m so happy to have been a part of it.
To give you a better idea, Alex and I compiled my footage into a short video. Because, really, what else would we do on the flight home?! Hope you enjoy xo

Things were finished off with a Hoola Bronzer from Benefit to contour the face and a bit of MAC Lipstick in Blankety. We then threw my hair up into a messy top knot to emphasize just how casual this look can be. I’ve since recreated this one and am super happy with the results. Thanks to Kahlia for once again working her makeup magic!
