Scarf and Bag from Plum (I am sorry that I use the same purse so often!) // Bracelet from H&M
My first attempts at photos were not the most flattering….
A scarf was the absolute wrong thing to wear on a ferry. I almost lost it in the wind, as you can tell from the above photo! Adam and I went to Bowen Island on Sunday to visit with his friends who own houses there. It’s such a treat to have free accommodations, especially at a place that is so close and fairly inexpensive to get to. Adam spent most of his childhood on the island, as his family owned a home there for a portion of his life. It made me laugh because as soon as we got there and went down to the beach, all the guys seemed to transform into boys, goofing around like they were 12 again. I think it’s good for the soul to act youthful when you can though, it helps keep you young 🙂
Three more posts tonight before I cross the finish line…wish me luck :)!!
Your hair always looks so good! And the the idea of a scarf on the ferry blowing in the wind seems like it would make a great picture, but I can understand how the reality of it doesn't quite meet the vision. You still look cute tho!
Lovely pictures!
Isn't it so amazing when you see wild deer! I just saw a bunch when I was up in Grouse a few weeks ago.
When I went up to Gibsons during one of my 30 for 30 days I wore a hat.. which I think is also a horrible choise to wear on a ferry as it also kept blowing off, and eventually I had to put it in my purse.. and had to skip the hat for the freey photo op.
Haha that windy picture on the ferry is the cutest!
I always love a good trip to Bowen Island but will admit to having some ferry fashion mishaps… I almost lost a hat coming back from Victoria.
